Nobody can exercise for you; you have to get up and do it for yourself. You can’t delegate eating health, only you can decide what goes through your mouth. You can’t buy your wellness; neither can you corrupt your way to great health.

You need sunshine; you’ll have to get out and enjoy it. You may get vitamin D supplements but the free vitamin D is outside. Just go out and get it
You need strong bones; you’ve got to lift that weight
You need healthy heart; you’ve got to take that walk, or swim, or cycle, or jog
You need to reduce body fat; you’ve got to eat healthy nutrition, chose natural food over processed foods most of the time, cut or reduce sugar
Your race to a happy, healthy life is run by one person, YOU.
Don’t be distracted trying to compete with magazine models, friends, family, spouse , neighbor or a colleague. Just run your race.

Celebrate your Small and Big wins.

  • Celebrate that you’ve been consistently showing up for yourself even on those days that you don’t feel like.
  • Celebrate that you’ve kept off sugar and sodas
  • Celebrate that you kept off alcohol and cigarettes
  • Celebrate that you can run faster than when you started
  • Celebrate that you can go up the stairs without losing your breath
  • Celebrate that you can take more water daily than before
  • Celebrate that you are now enjoying a glass of smoothie that you detested before
  • Celebrate that you no longer have cravings for biscuits, cakes, chocolates, cookies and other confectionaries.
  • Celebrate that you have upgraded your dumbbell weight in your daily exercise
  • Celebrate that you enjoy getting out more and enjoying the nature feels good
  • Celebrate that you’re able to sleep better than before you started your health and fitness journey
  • Celebrate that you are able to create time for your self-care
